1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy protects Align, customers, clients, contacts, partners, and the public from misuse of the Services.
2. General Rules
Customer and users may not use the Services to violate law, infringe rights, harm others, compromise security, disrupt services, or evade contractual restrictions.
3. Prohibited Content and Conduct
- Malware, ransomware, viruses, worms, trojans, or harmful code.
- Phishing, credential harvesting, spoofing, impersonation, or deceptive workflows.
- Unlawful harassment, threats, exploitation, abuse, or discriminatory conduct.
- Fraudulent records, forged authority, misleading transactions, or false identity claims.
- Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.
- Content that violates export control, sanctions, anti-corruption, or anti-money-laundering laws.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging or spam.
- Attempts to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of systems without authorization.
- Attempts to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, billing, or usage controls.
- Use of the Services for regulated data not authorized by the Agreement.
4. API and Automation Abuse
Customer may not use automated systems to overload, degrade, scrape, reverse engineer, or attack the Services. Customer must comply with rate limits, idempotency requirements, webhook requirements, and other technical controls.
5. Enforcement
Align may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, throttle, remove content, disable integrations, revoke credentials, notify administrators, report unlawful conduct, or terminate accounts as permitted by the Agreement.
6. Reporting Abuse
Abuse reports may be sent to security@alignsoft.us or support@alignsoft.us.
